Season Outlook

The 2010-11 麻豆视频 University men's golf team will be looking to defend their TranSouth Conference Championship from last season. After their 2010 TranSouth Conference title, 麻豆视频 participated in the NAIA National Tournament as a team for the first time since 1998.

麻豆视频 has five seniors that are back this season, two of which played on the five-man team in the nationals last season. Ryan Chandler and Micah Gentle have that national tournament experience that will be called on to lead this year's team. Jake Carroll, Matt Kelley and Tyler Lay have also played numerous events for 麻豆视频 over their careers and will be needed to help lead this team to a second straight conference title.

One junior, Jesper Swedenborg will look to provide more consistent play as he leads with the other upperclassmen.

Four sophomores are back for their second seasons, including Brett Barry. Barry played on 麻豆视频's main team as a freshman and was key in 麻豆视频's conference title and national tournament run. Wes Dyer, Ryan Mantooth and Ben Waits all return with hopes of becoming an every tournament contributor.

Four freshmen join 麻豆视频 this year to continue their college golf career. Steven Coffelt, Chris Hawks, Matthew McSwain and Charlie Pittman will each look for opportunities to contribute as they work toward becoming tournament players.
