JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/10/2010 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University men’s golf team has signed Germantown, Tenn. native for the 2010-11 seasons. Bratcher will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this fall as sophomore academically and will continue his major in business administration.
Bratcher is a transfer from the University of Memphis where he attended for a year, but did not play golf. Bratcher will begin his college golf career after having played four seasons of golf at Houston (Tenn.) High School. He helped lead his team to the 2007 Tennessee State Title, while also posting state runner-up finishes in 2005 and 2008. Bratcher's teams posted four region titles and three district titles during his career. He was named all-district, all-region and was a Commercial Appeal Best of the Preps. Bratcher captured the top spot in the Hardin County Invitational at Pickwick comprised of 130 players. His scoring average on nine holes is 37.6 and 76 for 18 holes.
Bratcher is the son of Robert and Suzanne Bratcher of Germantown and is a member of Central Church.
