Professional accountants are in demand. Â鶹ÊÓƵ's fully online Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree prepares you for professional certification as a CPA and a successful career in financial institutions, government, industry, nonprofit organizations and public practice.
The small faculty-to-student ratio allows close interaction with our professional faculty and their colleagues. Students will find flexible online course schedules and professional faculty advisors to walk them through the program. This program extends the opportunity for students, whether they have previous studies in accounting or professionals looking to change their career into accounting.

Undergraduate Accounting majors may apply to the MAcc program upon reaching junior status (56 hours) with admission granted upon the completion of 71 hours. All regular admission requirements must be met except the requirement to possess a bachelor's degree. After admission to the program, undergraduate students may take up to 9 graduate hours required for the MAcc while completing the B.S.B.A. During the last three semesters, a full-time undergraduate student (12 undergraduate hours) enrolled in 3 graduate hours may qualify for the undergraduate tuition block and Â鶹ÊÓƵ institutional financial aid. Graduate enrollment that leads to overload will be charged the graduate rate. For questions regarding tuition, fees, or overload charges, please contact Student Accounts. Students wishing to complete more than 9 graduate hours before earning their B.S.B.A. must obtain approval from the MAcc Program Director. Graduate courses taken after completing the bachelor's degree are charged at the graduate rate.

All CPA candidates must pass the Uniform CPA Examination to qualify for a CPA certificate and license (i.e., permit to practice) to practice public accounting. While the exam is the same no matter where it's taken, every state/jurisdiction has its own set of education and experience requirements that individuals must meet.
