Santhosh Abraham

Biography
Dr. Santhosh Abraham has worked in several higher educational institutions located all over the globe such as Thailand, England, Scotland, Dubai, and New York. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Assumption University as well as an M.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Exeter. During his time as a professor, Dr. Abraham has taught accounting and finance at both the undergraduate and graduate level including doctoral supervision. In his applied research, Dr. Abraham focused on improving the quality of information disclosed by corporates to the investing public and how accounting information is transmitted to investors during the earnings release. His research has been published in the top five leading accounting journals. Two of his favorite classes to teach are Intermediate Accounting and Principles of Accounting II. He appreciates the direct applicability of Intermediate Accounting, and the challenges involved in communicating how accounting and finance apply to everyone in Principles of Accounting II. On his days off, Dr. Abraham enjoys walking and hiking.
