BIOME - Biologists in Observation of the Master's Earth
Purposes
- To promote the love of Creation through acknowledgment and love of the Creator
- To provide friends, academic support, and events filled with encouragement and fun for students of biology
- To educate the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ community about biology
- To expose students to less visible career opportunities in the biological sciences
- To explore new areas of biological interest both at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and in our world as a whole
- To equip future leaders and participants in the field of biology
BIOME Quick Facts
- A student-led organization, BIOME is a wonderful organization to plug into as a biology student.
- Events are held on a monthly or more frequent basis and include homecoming activities, day trips, and talks/seminars from guest speakers.
- Members of BIOME have the opportunity to serve Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and the greater community. Past service projects have included improving the Wildlife Rehab Center and cleaning up Cypress Grove Nature Park.
Joining
- The membership fee is $5.00 per semester. Membership is not required to attend events, only to vote, get merch discounts, and put the club on your resume.
