Presidential Inauguration: Dub Oliver
The inauguration of the 16th president of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University, Dr. Samuel W. "Dub" Oliver. Russell D. Moore, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission, delivered the inaugural charge. The inauguration ceremony also included greetings from Frank Page, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Executive Committee; Randy Davis, executive director-treasurer of the Tennessee Baptist Convention; Jackson Mayor Jerry Gist and others.
