President Oliver presents the Alumnus of the Year Award to John Adams during the Meritorious Service Awards banquet. This award is presented to a Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate for distinction in his or her profession, service to mankind and/or contribution to Â鶹ÊÓƵ University. Adams served as Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s vice president for religious affairs and professor of practical Christian ministries at Â鶹ÊÓƵ from 1982-1999. He has also served several churches as pastor and interim pastor.
