Tim Ellsworth Tim Ellsworth

  • Associate Vice President for University Communications
  • Tim Ellsworth (’96) oversees the university’s news writing efforts and is Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s chief liaison with external media. A Â鶹ÊÓƵ graduate, he returned to the university in 2004 after working in a variety of journalism and educational positions, including stints at the Illinois Baptist and the Southern Illinoisan. He is a regular contributor to Baptist Press and the author of four books. He and his wife Sarah have three children and are active at Cornerstone Community Church in Jackson.

Jenny White Jenny Brooks White

  • Communications Specialist
  • Jenny White serves as a social media manager and contributing writer for the university. With over a decade of experience as a teacher, Jenny transitioned from the classroom to running a small business and homeschooling her three children. She values the community-building power of social media and its role in showcasing Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s mission and impact. In her free time, Jenny loves traveling, reading, spending time with her husband and kids, and never misses an opportunity to enjoy chocolate.

Elli Schultz Elli Schultz

  • Director for Marketing
  • Elli Schultz ('20) is a graduate of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She directs the marketing strategies at play for Â鶹ÊÓƵ at both the University level, as well as program-specific departments throughout the campus. Elli leans into the importance of increasing brand awareness and building a strong Bulldog community while ensuring we are leveraging tools and analytics to grow our prospective student base and engage alumni. As a former student-athlete at Â鶹ÊÓƵ and Jackson-area local, she is ecstatic to have a career that is defined by sharing Â鶹ÊÓƵ with others. Elli enjoys watching the Lady Bulldogs win basketball games and spending time with her husband, Spencer.

  • Communications Specialist
  • Karley Hathcock (‘22 & '23) is a graduate of Â鶹ÊÓƵ University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After earning her BSBA, Karley went on to earn her MBA from Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s McAfee School of Business. In her role, she serves as the university’s photographer, as well as assisting with project management responsibilities for the department. As a Jackson native and Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumna, Karley is excited to tell the Â鶹ÊÓƵ story through photography and media. In her free time, she enjoys working puzzles and spending time with her family.

Scott Lancaster Scott Lancaster

  • Multimedia Producer
  • Scott Lancaster ('94) has served as the multimedia producer for the OUC since 2007. He is responsible for producing video and audio content that promote the university. After graduation from Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Scott returned home to Memphis where he spent six years in television news, and owned a video production business. Scott and his wife Frances (’22) have 2 children and are active members of Cornerstone Community Church.

Michael Tracy Michael Camden Tracy

  • Web Development Agent
  • Cam Tracy ('93) has maintained the university website since 1995 and has been a member of the OUC since 1999. He has taught in the Digital Media Studies program since its inception in 2000, and he is the founder of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ Student Film Festival. He serves as the historian/webmaster for the Baptist Communicators Association and is a member of HighEdWeb. He also sings baritone and serves on the board of the Jackson Choral Society. Cam and his wife Breanne ('03 & '06) are active members at West Jackson Baptist Church, and they have one son, Jonathan.
