JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 27, 2006 — Â鶹ÊÓƵ University’s Society of Physics Students chapter has been selected as an Outstanding Chapter for 2005.
The selection by the national SPS organization was based on the Â鶹ÊÓƵ chapter’s involvement in such areas as physics research, public service outreach, physics tutoring programs, hosting and representation at physics meetings and providing social interaction for physics members.
Less than 10 percent of the SPS chapters are honored each year as an Outstanding Chapter.
