JACKSON, Tenn. — Jan. 19, 2006 — Â鶹ÊÓƵ University men’s soccer coach Darin White was named NAIA South Region Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
White and other award recipients will be honored at a banquet in Philadelphia Jan. 20.
Under White’s leadership, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ men’s soccer team posted a 12-3-2 record this year, the best in school history. The team earned runner-up finishes in the TranSouth regular season, TranSouth tournament and the NAIA Region XI tournament.
The season was White’s 12th as head coach for the Bulldogs.
