Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ hosts works of Glenn Dasher

JACKSON, Tenn.Oct. 28, 2002 — Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University’s Art Department has announced its new scheduled exhibit for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Art Gallery, a selection of works by artist Glenn Dasher. The show, which consists of a series of sculptures, is free and open to the public. The exhibit will run from Nov. 4 – 26.

In addition to his work in sculpture, Dasher has held several teaching positions at various universities, including Indiana University and the University of Alaska. Currently, Dasher is a professor of art at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, Ala. He received his bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia School of Fine Arts and then later his master’s degree in fine arts from the Hope School of Fine Art at Indiana Univeristy.

Gallery hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. through 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
