JACKSON, Tenn. — April 12, 2002 — Â鶹ÊÓƵ University’s Art Department will offer a community art class on painting with watercolors Saturday, May 4, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on the Jackson campus.
Watercolor – Back to Basics is for the beginner as well as the more experienced painter and will be taught by Chris Nadaskay, art professor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. Emphasis will be on working with washes, modeling form, expressive brushwork, understanding color and value and the basic principles of drawing.
Tuition is $125 and includes paper which will be provided. All other materials will be student purchases. A brown bag lunch is from noon until 1 p.m.
