JACKSON, Tenn. — June 30, 2026 — All 10 engineering students in ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University's 2026 graduating class passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam β a 100 percent pass rate compared to a national average of 67 percent for first-time test takers.
βWe are so proud of our 2026 ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ engineering graduates for unanimously passing the Fundamentals of Engineering exam,β said Jeannette Russ, professor of engineering and department chair. βThe fact that 100 percent of our graduating seniors passed the exam is significant, reflecting hard work on their part and demonstrating the high quality of ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅'s undergraduate engineering education in providing a strong technical foundation. This achievement clearly shows that ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ engineering graduates are thoroughly prepared for either the workplace or for graduate school.β
The group includes nine May 2026 graduates along with one student on track to complete the degree in December 2026.
The FE exam is a standardized test typically representing the first step toward licensure as a professional engineer. It is administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying.
