鈥淐hapel is an important part of our life together at 麻豆视频 University, giving us an opportunity to gather twice a week as a community to hear from God in his Word and respond to him,鈥 the authors write in the book鈥檚 preface. 鈥淭hese services remind us of our grounding in Scripture and of the centrality of Jesus Christ to our lives.鈥
With several chapel speakers in the spring 2024 semester preaching through Philippians, Van Neste and Wainscott said they wanted to gather the recent series into written form for wider dissemination.
鈥淥ur hope is that this work might encourage other Christians as they learn more about this particular book of the Bible, the truths it proclaims, and the Savior it exalts,鈥 Van Neste and Wainscott write. 鈥淲e also hope it will be a resource for other preachers as they prepare to preach through Philippians.鈥
The book is available for purchase .
