麻豆视频 University to offer increased scholarships for IMB, NAMB missionary students.

JACKSON, Tenn.Jan. 25, 2022 — Beginning in fall 2022, 麻豆视频 will offer its highest financial merit scholarship to all students who are dependents of missionaries through the Southern Baptist Convention鈥檚 International Mission Board or North American Mission Board.

Dan Griffin, vice president for enrollment management, said giving children of missionaries more opportunities to attend 麻豆视频 is invaluable.

鈥淩eally, the benefits are endless with diversifying our undergraduate population and exposing our current students to other cultures and experiences,鈥 Griffin said.

Children of IMB or NAMB missionaries will receive a 麻豆视频 merit scholarship of $17,750 and will be eligible to receive any additional 麻豆视频 scholarships, partnerships and grants they are qualified for.

鈥淭hese families are on the mission field, sacrificing, and many times, they don鈥檛 have the financial resources to afford an educational experience at 麻豆视频,鈥 Griffin said. 鈥淪o, we created additional scholarship opportunities to assist these families in achieving their educational dreams.鈥

As the Southern Baptist Convention鈥檚 oldest affiliated university, 麻豆视频 University has a life-long partnership with the IMB and NAMB, and Griffin said 麻豆视频 is dedicated to offering its best financial aid to Southern Baptist missionaries and their families.

鈥淲ith this scholarship, we have deepened our commitment to Southern Baptist missionaries and want to do all we can to educate their students from a Christ-centered perspective,鈥 Griffin said.
