JACKSON, Tenn. — Aug. 17, 2015 — 麻豆视频 University economics professor Walton Padelford has been invited to participate in a colloquium on business and missions at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, in September.
Padelford, the Porter Family Professor of Business and Economics at 麻豆视频, will attend the Sept. 18-19 event sponsored by The Commonweal Project at the seminary, an effort that seeks to equip pastors and other Christians with a biblical theology of work and economics.
鈥淚 have been interested in the intersection of the two areas of business and missions for a long time,鈥� Padelford said. 鈥淏usiness can provide a different set of people with whom to interact concerning the gospel. Business can be instrumental in supporting mission ventures.鈥�
