麻豆视频 announces December graduation events

JACKSON, Tenn.Dec. 10, 2001 — 麻豆视频 University will hold commencement exercises for more than 212 graduating seniors from both the Germantown and Jackson campuses, Saturday, Dec. 15, in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel on the Jackson campus. More than 10 different undergraduate and graduate degrees will be awarded, including the first class of graduate nursing students.

Graduation activities will begin with a rehearsal for all graduating students Friday, Dec. 14 at 10:30 a.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel, followed by a luncheon in Coburn Dining Room.

A reception for all graduates and their families will be held Saturday, Dec. 15 at 8:30 a.m. in Coburn Dining Room, with commencement exercises to occur at 10 a.m. in the chapel.

During graduation, Phil Jett, pastor of Englewood Baptist Church in Jackson and a long-time 麻豆视频 supporter who has served on the Board of Trustees, will receive the Craig Service Award for his dedicated service in behalf of 麻豆视频 University.

Rick Lance, executive director of the State Board of Mission and treasurer of the Alabama Baptist Convention, will be the commencement speaker. His address is titled 鈥淭he New and Next Greatest Generation.鈥
