16 straight: ΒιΆΉΚΣơ’s fall enrollment rises again

JACKSON, Tenn.Aug. 30, 2013 — Enrollment at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University for the fall semester is a record-high 4,288 students – the 16th straight year for an enrollment increase at the university.

β€œWe rejoice that ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University has been blessed in an extraordinary way with 16 consecutive years of enrollment increases,” ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ President David S. Dockery said. β€œWe are grateful to God for each and every student that has chosen to attend ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University and we wish the best for them in their educational pursuits.”

Undergraduate enrollment at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ is 3,028, the third straight year for that figure to surpass 3,000. Graduate enrollment is 1,260, an all-time high. This year’s total enrollment is an increase of 26 students from last year.

The latest enrollment figures show a 117 percent increase over the 1,972 students enrolled in the fall of 1996, when Dockery began his tenure.

Dockery congratulated ΒιΆΉΚΣơ’s enrollment services team on its efforts.

β€œThe strong enrollment markers are a strong affirmation of the outstanding faculty and staff who provide the distinctive educational context for both undergraduate and graduate students at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University,” he said.
