JACKSON, Tenn. — Feb. 19, 2013 — Cynthia Jayne, associate provost for intercultural and international studies at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University, will be the featured speaker at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅βs annual Foundersβ Day chapel service Feb. 20.
Jayne, who also serves as university professor of language, will speak about the history of ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅βs international efforts.
βFounders' Day is an important opportunity for the ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ community to reflect upon significant achievements in our past that shape our present and give direction for our future,β ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ President David S. Dockery said. βIt will be a privilege to hear from Dr. Cindy Jayne as she traces the development and expansion of ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅βs global involvement through the years.β
The chapel service will be held in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel at 10 a.m. It is free and open to the public.
