Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ graduation set for Dec. 15

JACKSON, Tenn.Dec. 12, 2012 — More than 300 students will graduate from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Dec. 15 during a ceremony at West Jackson Baptist Church.

Among those who will receive degrees are about 125 graduate students, including several Doctor of Education graduates and the university’s first two Doctor of Ministry graduates.

Claude Pressnell, president of the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association, will be the keynote speaker at the 11 a.m. ceremony. Pressnell is the former president of the TICUA Foundation and has served on the boards of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities and Trinity Forum, as well as Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Board of Trustees.

As part of the ceremony, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will present the Robert E. Craig Service Award to Jack and Zan Holmes. The Holmes’ are Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ alumni and have been generous donors to the university, strong supporters of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ athletics and key leaders in the community, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ President David S. Dockery said.
