JACKSON, Tenn. — April 28, 2011 — Author and Hillsdale College history professor Allan Carlson will lecture at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University April 29 on the topic βWho Owns America? Agrarian Responses to Economic Crises of Yesterday and Today.β
The lecture will take place at 6 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium, located in the Barefoot Student ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ Building. It is free and open to the public.
In addition to serving as a history professor at Hillsdale in Michigan, Carlson is president of the Howard Center, a non-profit research center in Rockford, Ill. He is the author of 10 books, including βFamily Questions: Reflections on the American School Crisis.β
The lecture is sponsored by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, a national educational organization.
