JACKSON, Tenn. — March 29, 2010 — Twelve teams consisting of 126 Â鶹ÊÓƵ University students, faculty and staff are spread out across the world this week of spring break on Global Outreach mission trips.
Team sizes range from six to 20 and teams are ministering in such places as Boston; Providence, R.I.; Hays, Kansas; Carbondale, Ill.; Nashville, Tenn.; as well as such international locations as Guatemala, Honduras, Romania, the Ukraine and two security-sensitive countries.
Julie Bradfield, director of student mobilization for Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s campus ministries office, asked the Â鶹ÊÓƵ community to be in prayer for the teams and the work they are doing.
She requested specific prayer for: wisdom and discernment for team leaders and Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s ministry partners in each location, open doors for Â鶹ÊÓƵ students to share the gospel, boldness for them to share, hearts prepared to receive the truth, travel safety, team unity and continued spiritual growth in the lives of the students as they minister.
