JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 29, 2009 — ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University will host a seminar entitled βBreaking the Silence: Mental Illness and the Familyβ Oct. 5.
The seminar will include a screening of the public television program βMinds on the Edge: Facing Mental Illness,β followed by a panel discussion with mental health advocates, mental health providers and representatives from the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Sponsored by ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅βs Center for Just and Caring Communities, the School of Social Work and NAMI, the seminar will begin at 6:30 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium, located in the Barefoot Student ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ Building. It is free and open to the public.
