JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 10, 2001 — ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University will host its fifth annual Family Weekend, Oct. 12-13. The weekend is sponsored by the Student Activities Counsel and is designed to help studentsβ families get acquainted with the ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ family.
βThis is a great opportunity for families to come and visit ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅βs campus and see what their students are involved in,β said Mark VanderHaar, director of wellness and student programs. βFamily Weekend helps build positive relationships between parents and ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ faculty and staff.β
The weekend has something for everyone in the entire family to participate in. Activities include informative and enjoyable workshops ranging from tracing oneβs family history to taking the best pictures, the annual campus variety show, a banquet featuring entertainment by the menβs quartet βEvidence,β and a special viewing of βWhoβs on First,β a play with hilarious results!
