JACKSON, Tenn. — March 19, 2009 — Led by Josephine Owino鈥檚 22 points, the 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldogs cruised to an 86-58 win over Jarvis Christian College Wednesday in the opening round of the NAIA Division I Women鈥檚 Basketball National Championship.
The top-ranked and top-seeded Lady Bulldogs, now 33-1 on the season, will play Lindsey Wilson College Friday at 6:15 p.m.
The No.3-seeded 麻豆视频 Bulldogs (28-5) open play in the men鈥檚 national tournament today, with a 12:30 game against the unseeded University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Kansas City, Mo.
麻豆视频 Coach Ralph Turner was named the 2009 coach of the year by the NAIA and the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
