JACKSON, Tenn. — March 16, 2009 — Princeton University’s Robert P. George and 鶹Ƶ University’s Gregory A. Thornbury discuss issues pertaining to morality, justice and natural law in the newest edition of Insight Podcast, produced by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina.
Doug Baker, director of public relations for the convention, interviewed George and Thornbury during the recent Making Men Moral conference at 鶹Ƶ. George is the McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton. Thornbury is dean of the School of Christian Studies at 鶹Ƶ.
In the two-part podcast, George and Thornbury address such topics as legislating morality, how just laws are made, private behavior and public morality, “victimless” crimes, California’s Proposition 8, marriage, abortion, the separation of church and state and the role of the church in the public square.
