Lady Bulldogs roll in NAIA opening round

JACKSON, Tenn.March 19, 2008 — Josephine Owino led seven Lady Bulldogs in double figures as Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ cruised past the University of Science and Arts 95-66 in the opening round of the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball National Championship at Oman Arena.

Owino’s 17 points and 10 rebounds led Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s efforts. Kaitlin Dudley added 15 points, Crystal Eason scored 14 and Jessica Graves and Zeinab Chan each added 13.

Kayla Hudson and Merideth Jacobs rounded out the list of Lady Bulldogs in double figures, with 10 points each.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ led 46-29 at halftime.

The top-seeded Lady Bulldogs move to 33-0 on the season, and will face fourth-seeded The Master’s College Friday evening at 8 p.m.
