JACKSON, Tenn.Oct. 16, 2007 — The ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University history department will hold a panel discussion Oct. 22 analyzing the recent Ken Burns documentary, β€œThe War.”

History professors Keith Bates, Stephen Carls, Judy LeForge and Terry Lindley will each address different topics related to the documentary, including the Pacific Theater of operations, American minority groups, the home front in the United States, the Holocaust and Europe.

ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University is a lead sponsor of β€œThe War” on WKNO-TV.

The panel discussion will begin at 7 p.m. in Harvey Auditorium in the Barefoot Student ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ Building. The event is free and open to the public.
