Livingstone to lecture at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ Jan. 22

JACKSON, Tenn.Jan. 19, 2007 — Ann Livingstone of the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre in Ottawa, Canada, will speak at ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University Jan. 22 as part of ΒιΆΉΚΣơ’s ongoing β€œTown and Gown” series on war.

Livingstone, director of research at the Pearson Peacekeeping Center and a former ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ University political science professor, will speak at 6 p.m. on the topic, β€œAsymmetric War-Asymmetric Peace.” The lecture will be held in the Harvey Auditorium in the Barefoot Student ΒιΆΉΚΣΖ΅ Building. It is free and open to the public.

According to its Web site, the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre β€œis a Canadian organization whose mission is to make peace operations more effective through research, training, education and capacity building.”
