JACKSON, Tenn. — Sept. 6, 2006 — Â鶹ÊÓƵ University music professor Michael Penny will present a voice recital Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in Hartley Recital Hall on the Â鶹ÊÓƵ campus.
Assisting Penny will be Â鶹ÊÓƵ pianist Joan Forbes, Â鶹ÊÓƵ adjunct guitar teacher Troy Leach and Madison Academic Magnet High School student Austin Anthony, who will play trombone.
Penny will perform songs composed by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco and Benjamin Britten, as well as songs he composed himself.
Hartley Recital Hall is located in Jennings Hall on the west end of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
