JACKSON, Tenn. — Aug. 24, 2006 — Abdul Cole, deputy chief of mission for The Gambia Embassy, will speak to students Sept. 1 at Â鶹ÊÓƵ University.
Cole will be in Jackson as part of the annual African Street Festival. He will speak at 1 p.m. to Â鶹ÊÓƵ political science, intercultural studies, business and education students about the role of education, economics, diversity and civic institutions in The Gambia.
The lecture will be held in room 44 in the Blasingame Academic Complex.
