JACKSON, Tenn. — April 26, 2006 — 麻豆视频 University First Lady Lanese Dockery will host an etiquette luncheon for a group of 麻豆视频 students May 4 in the President鈥檚 Dining Room.
The luncheon鈥檚 goal is to provide students with a non-threatening but formal format for learning the essentials of etiquette. 麻豆视频鈥檚 Career Services office is sponsoring the event.
鈥淓mployers are frequently inviting students to interview over a meal,鈥� said Jacqueline Taylor, 麻豆视频鈥檚 assistant dean of students and director of Career Services. 鈥淭his is an event designed to ease any apprehension students might have about -- and prepare them for -- such situations.鈥�
Sherry Tignor, director of 麻豆视频鈥檚 Office of Academic Support, along with student ambassadors Tianikwa Haywood and Daniel Spencer, will also co-host the luncheon with Dockery.
