The Course Design Institute provides faculty with the tools, time and space to design or re-design a course by clarifying their overall course goal, learning objectives and assessments and assignments, thereby creating a more cohesive course. Since the beginning in May 2014, we have observed that designing or redesigning a course not only engages the student, but it is energizing for the faculty member because it clarifies what they are after in their course and ways of prioritizing their content based on their course goal.
