About

Kayla M. Kemp specializes in the intersection of religion, race, and education, especially in the Southern United States. Her dissertation research has been funded by the American Sociological Association, Penn State’s McCourtney Institute of Democracy, and the Penn State College of Liberal Arts. She has also worked as a Research Associate for the Association of Religion Data Archives and a Short-Term Consultant for the World Bank.
