Emergency Contacts & Immediate Help
In an emergency, call 911.
For campus-specific safety concerns — or when Security should know alongside emergency responders — call Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s 24/7 Safety and Security line: 731-394-2922.
In an urgent situation:
Fire: Pull the alarm, call 911, then notify Security. Evacuate immediately — do not use elevators.
Severe weather/tornado: Move to an interior room on the first floor, away from windows, until the warning clears.
Threat or violent incident: Call 911 immediately. If danger is imminent, run, hide, or fight as a last resort.
Injury or medical emergency: Call 911, then have someone notify Security with your location and the nature of the emergency.
Campus Safety & Security
Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Office of Safety and Security patrols campus 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year — on foot and in marked vehicles — to protect and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Officers aren’t sworn police, but they’re trained to enforce campus rules and can provide on-campus escorts to and from buildings and vehicles.
