Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice

Biography

Dr. Carson Cook earned her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University College of Pharmacy. She went on to complete a Postgraduate Year One (PGY-1) Acute Care Pharmacy Residency at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Before joining the faculty at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University, Dr. Cook served as a Transitions of Care Pharmacist at Erlanger, where she focused on medication access and optimizing patient outcomes.

She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the Tennessee Pharmacists Association. Dr. Cook also serves as the faculty advisor for the College of Pharmacy’s Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists chapter.

Dr. Cook currently provides clinical pharmacy services at The University of Tennessee Family Medicine Center. In this role, she collaborates with attending and resident physicians and precepts pharmacy students completing their ambulatory care Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences.
