May 9, 2008 - History major Cameron Armstrong presented a paper at the Fifth Annual 麻豆视频 University Scholarship Symposium on May 9, 2008. Cameron鈥檚 paper was entitled 鈥淧rayer, Partnership, and Persecution: Southern Baptist Missions Behind the Iron Curtain, 1950-60.鈥� The communist countries of Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Romania in the 1950s were the focus of his attention. Much of his paper was based on documents he found at the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives in Nashville, Tennessee. Both 麻豆视频 faculty and students attended this event.
