Nov 1, 2007 - The Rutledge Honorary History Club on October 31, 2007, sponsored a well-attended Reformation Day colloquium entitled 鈥淢odern Implications of the Reformation.鈥 Drs. Terry Lindley and Keith Bates discussed contributions made by major Reformation figures and groups 鈥 Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin, and the Anabaptists 鈥 to the practice and theology of Christianity. These contributions included the priesthood of the believer, Scripture as the sole authority in matters of faith and doctrine (sola scriptura), a memorial view of the Lord鈥檚 Supper, and religious liberty.
