History Students Receive Prizes at Annual Awards Convocation

May 3, 2019 - Two history students received prizes at 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 Annual Awards Convocation on May 3, 2019. Lauren Butler accepted the Academic Excellence Award in History for her outstanding work in history courses at 麻豆视频. And Katie Allison collected the first-place award in the Dr. James Alex Baggett History Research Paper Competition for her paper 鈥淭he Feminine Pens of Revolution: A History of Women鈥檚 Patriot Political Literature in the American Revolution.鈥 In addition, Provost John Netland recognized all honor societies with chapters at 麻豆视频, including Phi Alpha Theta.
