Four History Majors Graduate at 麻豆视频 University's Spring Commencement Services

May 16, 2015 - Four history majors were among the 718 students who comprised 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 190th graduating class at the school鈥檚 spring commencement services on May 16, 2015. The graduating majors were Faith Bagley, Sarah Carroll, Hannah Jones, and Kenan Keller. Dr. Samuel W. 鈥淒ub鈥� Oliver presided over his first spring graduation as president of 麻豆视频 University. The commencement speaker was Dr. J. Steven Haines, pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church in Cordova, Tennessee, who talked on 鈥淭he Need of the Hour.鈥�

Several members of 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 Delta-Psi chapter of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society were among the spring graduates, including Bagley, Carroll, Jones, and history minors Hunter Hawes, Kayla Ketner, Bree McCuin, and Kensie Zills. All wore Phi Alpha Theta honor cords at the graduation ceremony, which was held in Jackson鈥檚 Oman Arena.
