May 1, 2015 - History students were among those recognized at 麻豆视频 University鈥檚 Awards Day Convocation on May 1, 2015. History major Faith Bagley received the Academic Excellence Medal in History as well as the first place award in the Dr. James Alex Baggett History Research Paper Competition for her paper 鈥淒eath and Suffering: Civil War Prisons in the North and South.鈥 History major Kenan Keller was recognized for being named to the 2015 list of Who鈥檚 Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Kensie Zills, a history minor, won the Academic Excellence Medal in Interdisciplinary Studies. Finally, Dr. Ben Mitchell, 麻豆视频鈥檚 provost, recognized discipline-specific honor societies, including Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, by having their members stand when he called out the name of each organization.
