Harvard History Professor to Speak at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ

Oct 1, 2003 - Professor Charles S. Maier, the Leverett Saltonstall Professor of History at Harvard University, will speak in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel of Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University at 7:15 pm on October 21 as the 2003 Carls-Schwerdfeger History Lecturer. His talk is entitled "An American Empire? Imperial Histories and Their Lessons." The lecture will be open to the public without charge. Dr. Maier will also present an afternoon lecture (12:15 pm) in a classroom setting on "What is a World History a History of? Defining Global History Today."
