Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Lamb prepped at Shelbyville (Tenn.) High School where she played softball and soccer. As a senior softball player, Lamb earned 8AAA District MVP, team MVP, team captain, Leadership Award, All-Middle Tennessee and played in the All-Star game. Earlier in her career, Lamb added team MVP as a freshman, best offense and all-district as a sophomore, and team MVP, all-district and All-Middle Tennessee as a junior. In soccer, Lamb helped lead her team to the 2008 district title and 2009 district runner-up. She was named soccer all-district as a junior and senior, while also being named team MVP. Off the fields, Lamb was a member of the National Honor Society.
