Before Â鶹ÊÓƵ: Leisey was a member of the baseball and basketball teams at Warwick High School. He helped lead his team to a District 3 Championship in 2008 and Section 1 Champions in 2009. He received the honor of 2nd Team All-Star in the Section 1 League. In 2008, he had a 3-1 record and a 1.42 ERA. Off the field, Leisey participated in the National Honor Society, Distinguished Honor Roll, and the WHS Science Fair and the JA Science Fair where he won first place in both competitions.
