Shaping Beauty with Faithful Hands
At Â鶹ÊÓƵ, ceramics connects students to one of humanity’s oldest creative traditions. Faculty guide you through the discipline of shaping clay into something beautiful and useful — exploring what it means to create with intention, skill, and a sense of wonder rooted in faith.
Ceramics Studio
The studio is equipped with large studio spaces and electric wheels. Students have 24-hour access to the studio several days a week. Enrolled ceramics students have free and unlimited access to clay and glazes. The studio normally stocks 30,000 pounds of clay per semester. We encourage students to experiment with porcelain, stoneware and earthenware.
