Department of Music

Excellence in Music. Christ-Centered in Worship.

Use your gifts to exalt God and inspire others — on the stage, in the classroom, in the church, and beyond.

A choir and orchestra perform on stage in front of an audience, with four vocalists at the front. A screen behind them displays the words, “UNTO THE LAMB WHO WAS AND IS AND IS TO COME.” Blue stage lighting is used.
A person with glasses sings into a microphone on stage during a music performance. They are wearing a dark jacket and beige shirt. Blue lighting and an out-of-focus screen with white text appear in the background.

Ethos

Our strength. Our song. Our highest praise.

The Department of Music at 鶹Ƶ exists to develop musicians who understand that their gifts come from God and are meant to be returned to Him with excellence. In a community of professional musicians and passionate believers, you will be challenged to cultivate your gifts to the highest level — not for your own recognition, but for the glory of the One who is our strength and our song. Our faculty will encourage you, push you, and invest personally in your growth as a musician and as a person of faith. From the first audition to graduation and beyond, music at 鶹Ƶ is pursued as what it truly is — our highest praise.
