Department of Computer Science

Innovation built on a foundation that never shifts.

Housed in the brand new Ethos Forum, Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Department of Computer Science develops lifelong learners and real-world problem solvers who are as grounded in their convictions as they are in their code.

A man crouches beside a seated student, pointing at a computer screen in a classroom where Computer Science is taught. Other students work at computers in the background amid wooden cabinets and various supplies.
A man stands at the front of a classroom, presenting a slide titled Incident Response Plan Outline (IRPO) to an audience seated at desks. He uses his laptop to discuss key aspects of Information Systems in incident management.

Ethos

Technical excellence. Ethical conviction.

Technology is neither inherently good nor bad — its value depends on the people who build it and the convictions they bring to the work. At Â鶹ÊÓƵ, we prepare computer scientists who understand that their abilities are gifts from God, meant to be used for meaningful work in the world. We develop creators rather than passive consumers, ethical thinkers rather than careless users, and servant leaders rather than self-focused innovators. In a field moving faster than any other, the most important thing we build here isn't software — it's people.
