Nominees Invited for Alumni Awards
Would you like to nominate an outstanding Â鶹ÊÓƵ alum? Each year at
Homecoming, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ University Alumni Association takes pride in recognizing
distinguished alumni and friends of the University by presenting special awards.
The Alumni Awards and Recognitions Committee is composed of past presidents of
the Alumni Association. There are five award categories:
- The Distinguished Alumna/Alumnus Award is based on distinction in one's
profession and for bringing honor and recognition to Â鶹ÊÓƵ University
through that profession.
- The Distinguished Faculty/Staff Award is a salute to long and meritorious
service to Â鶹ÊÓƵ University by an employee.
- The Distinguished Service Award is based on service to mankind and/or to
Â鶹ÊÓƵ University by an alumnus of the University.
- The Honorary Alumna/Alumnus Award is for outstanding service to the
University by someone who has not attended Â鶹ÊÓƵ University.
- The Outstanding Young Achieve r Award is presented to one, age 35 or
younger, who has a record of significant accomplishment in professional life
and for service to Â鶹ÊÓƵ University or the world.
If you would like to suggest a nominee for an award, send your recommendation
(along with appropriate biographical information) by December 1 to:
