UNION SOFTBALL SIGNS ANDREA HIGGINS
Jackson, TN--The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University softball program added another recruit when they signed Jackson State's Andrea Higgins. In Higgins' two seasons with the Lady Generals, she was named all-state and all-conference. In her career at Jackson State as a catcher, she compiled a .375 batting average, nine homeruns, and 60 RBI's. Higgins is a 1996 graduate of Riverside High School where she led Riverside to the state tournament while earning all-state honors. In 1996 she hit .400 and had 41 homeruns in her high school career.
