Jackson, TN--The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University athletic program has earned but yet another recognition for its excellence in NAIA competition. In the 1996-97 NAIA-SIDA Women's All-Sports Competition, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University ranked No. 19 of all 172 NAIA institutions which compete in women's athletics.
Established in 1969, the NAIA-SIDA All-Sports Contest measures the success of an institution's overall athletic program by the accumulation of points in post-season competition at the conference, region, and national levels. The winning institutions will each receive a trophy to acknowledge its accomplishments. Simon Fraser University out of British Columbia captured the women's overall title, while Life College of Georgia captured the men's title.
